Abstract

The relational emergence framework achieves something remarkable: it vindicatescommon human experience. What ordinary people feel about life turns out to becorrect. The future feels open because it is open. Choices feel real because they arereal. The past feels fixed because it is fixed. Meaning feels emergent because it isemergent. Novelty feels possible because it is possible. Philosophy has spent centuriesteling people their experience is ilusory̶ free wil is ilusion, time is ilusion, self isilusion, meaning is projection. The framework developed in this series of papers showsthe opposite: ordinary experience is a reliable guide to ontological structure. Thedebates that have occupied philosophy for milennia dissolve once we recognize thatlived experience, properly understood, is not the problem but the answer. Ontologyends here: reality is as it appears to those living in it.
