Scaling of Energy Constraint and MaxEnt for the Maxwell-Boltzmann and Tsallis Distributions
Abstract
In (1), (2) we used a scaling of the energy constraint in a statistical problem with respect to T→ T + dT to obtain the Maxwell-Boltzmann and Tsallis distributions without recourse to MaxEnt or reaction balance. Here, we try to show the connection between the scaling of the energy constraint with these other approaches.
