Abstract

The "NLSE Solver Base" is a computational framework designed to solve the Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation (NLSE), commonly applied to optical fiber simulations and nonlinear pulse propagation analysis. This repository implements various tools and solvers for modeling pulse dynamics, incorporating fiber parameters like dispersion and nonlinearity, and includes support for pulse shaping, Raman effects, and other advanced phenomena. Key features: Classes for fiber properties (Fibra), unit conversions (Units), pulse analysis (Tools), and pulse generation (Pulses). Predefined solvers (e.g., for solving generalized NLSE using CUPY). Pulse property analysis, such as photon number and chirp characterization. Visualization tools for pulse spectrograms, propagation dynamics, and frequency-time domains using plotter.py. Export functionality to save simulation results and metadata.
