Ontological Structure and Canonical Synthesis of NUVO Scalar Geometry
Abstract
The NUVO framework has produced a sequence of peer-reviewed and preprint resultsspanning scalar-modulated spacetime geometry, loop-based matter structure, quantizationfrom coherence and closure conditions, gauge correspondence, and finite saturation phenomena. These developments were largely results-driven, with ontological language evolvingalongside formal derivations. This paper provides a consolidated synthesis of those results and introduces a canonicalclarification of NUVO ontology centered on the Maintaining Attribute of Spacetime (MAST),its globally conserved quantitative measure (sinertia), and the scalar modulation field λ(x)as the local availability of that global maintaining capacity. The clarification replaces earlierheuristic “above/under substrate” terminology with a single-substrate spacetime ontologypossessing dual structure: geometric response and finite maintaining capacity. No published equations, derivations, or correspondence limits are modified. Rather, thiswork stabilizes interpretation, re-expresses depletion and saturation phenomena as naturalconsequences of finite maintaining capacity, and establishes a durable ontological foundationfor future peer-reviewed developments within the NUVO program.
