ichasekatz/Alloy-Color-Optimization: Initial Release
Abstract
Second update to the Alloy-Color-Optimization research codebase. This release focuses on improving reproducibility and data generation by replacing internal dataset construction with a forward Thermo-Calc optical property workflow. This release includes: Added Thermo-Calc Optical Properties integration for computing 24-bit alloy color directly from composition. Introduced CSV-driven color evaluation pipeline (external compositions can now be evaluated without regenerating the design space). Separated sampling strategy from the physics model (optimization proposes alloys → Thermo-Calc evaluates color). Added automatic RGB conversion utilities and plotting support. Updated Bayesian optimization figures and projection plots. Improved documentation and script organization.
