Abstract

: This research documents a critical pivot in the study of Generalized Collatz functions. After an initial investigation into standard integer-based $3n+1$ sequences showed promising signals that ultimately vanished when scaled to 1,000 samples, the study moved into the complex plane to find a more robust mathematical signal.
