O Poder da Visualização Renovada: Imaginação, Fé e Transformação Humana à Luz da Teologia Bíblica, da Psicologia e da Neurociência Cognitiva
Abstract
This working paper presents an interdisciplinary analysis of the concept of visualization, articulating biblical theology with contributions from cognitive neuroscience and contemporary psychology. The study argues that, within the biblical tradition, imagination is not a peripheral element of faith but a formative domain where perception, hope, and action are aligned with divine purpose. Through the analysis of key biblical narratives — Abraham (Genesis 15), Jacob (Genesis 30), Joash (2 Kings 13), and the Christological framework of Hebrews 12 — the paper demonstrates how revelation-oriented visualization functions as a spiritual, cognitive, and behavioral mechanism of human transformation. The text adopts an exploratory and conceptual approach and is presented as a working paper intended to support further academic development in the fields of Adult Education, Lifelong Learning, and Practical Theology.
