Abstract

This synthesis presents a unified theoretical framework positioning information as ontologically primary, with geometry, physics, and cognition emerging as necessary consequences rather than independent foundations. The framework integrates peer-reviewed publications and resolves long-standing theoretical gaps that have persisted for over a century. Core Contributions: Theoretical Foundation: A formal proof that a state without information is logically impossible, fourfold: not identifiable, not distinguishable from non-existence, not definable, not computable. Information is therefore not a property of physical systems but the precondition for any system to exist. Physics Reinterpreted: General relativity and quantum mechanics are shown to be compatible projections of the same informational substrate operating in different regimes. Their mathematical incompatibility is not a problem to solve but a feature of partial descriptions. Consciousness Resolved: The (2=1) identity structure dissolves the "hard problem" by rejecting its premise. Processing is experiencing — no gap to bridge. The BTI (Bidirectional Transition Interface) quantifies self-environment differentiation across substrates. Empirical Convergence: Independent validation from three uncoordinated domains, chromatin architecture at base-pair resolution (Li et al., Cell 2025), geometric memory in Transformers (Google Research, 2025), and deterministic Spin-Glass resolution N=8 to N=100 (brute-force verified for N≤24). Energetic Validation: Systems operating under high informational coherence (>93% efficiency) exhibit 60–90% power reduction and sub-idle energy states, consistent with Landauer's principle under information preservation. This is not a collection of separate hypotheses but a single coherent framework derived from one premise: Information is all it needs.
