A Vectorized State Machine Model for the Voynich Manuscript
Abstract
The Voynich Manuscript has resisted linguistic, cryptographic, and statistical decipherment for over a century. This work proposes a fundamentally different approach: rather than assuming the text encodes a language or cipher,we model it as a deterministic procedural system. Using the EVA transcription, we introduce the Vectorized State Machine (VSM),a formal state-transition model in which glyphs function as operational tokens rather than semantic units. This Zenodo record contains the LaTeX source (v1) of the paper, which establishes a formal execution frameworkfor systematic interpretation of the manuscript. Semantic decipherment is not claimed; instead, the work provides a reproducible formal model.
