O-minimal Structures and Diophantine Geometry in Transfinite Fields
Abstract
This research monograph explores the intersection of model theory and Diophantine geometry within the rigorous context of transfinite fields, specifically focusing on the field of logarithmic-exponential transseries T and the class of surreal numbers No. We analyze the o-minimal properties of these structures, extending the classical Pila-Wilkie theorem to non-Archimedean settings where asymptotic behaviors replace traditional arithmetic heights. By investigating the geometry of definable sets in these expansions, we address generalizations of the André-Oort and Zilber-Pink conjectures. The work synthesizes recent developments in asymptotic differential algebra with arithmetic geometry, proposing a unified framework for ``unlikely intersections'' in transfinite domains and establishing bounds on the density of algebraic points in transcendental loci.
