Shared Upstream Conditions and Divergent Disease Expression
Abstract
This formal note provides a top-layer structural framing for understanding how diverse, non-overlapping diseases and breakdown states may emerge under shared upstream conditions without asserting causation, prevention, prognosis, or treatment. The document distinguishes origin states from causes, describing conditions of sustained regulatory mismatch under which adaptive responses arise prior to disease classification. It identifies a shared origin layer characterised by prolonged load, compression, and regulatory strain, while maintaining strict separation between downstream expressions across biological, neurological, immune, metabolic, and psychiatric domains. The note explicitly rejects disease unification, explanatory synthesis, and medical reinterpretation. Terminal classifications are treated as domain-specific descriptors of physiological limits rather than totalising system states. This work is descriptive, non-prescriptive, non-medical, and closed. It modifies interpretive context only and authorises no inference, intervention, prognostic revision, or application. This document forms part of the Irwin Canonical Corpus and is subject to the Irwin Canonical Corpus Freeze Declaration (2026).
