Abstract

Traditional interpretations of observation in physics implicitly privilege conscious measurementas a special causal act. This paper proposes a revised, non-anthropocentric Lawof Observation in which observation is defined as the irreversible formation of constraintswithin a dynamical system. Observation is shown to exist on a continuous spectrum rangingfrom minimal physical interaction to conscious reflection. Memory is redefined as attractorbias rather than stored information. Numerical simulations of structured vacuum dynamicssubjected to repeated stress events demonstrate constraint persistence, reconstruction, andselective stability in the absence of conscious observers. These results support a universal,substrate-independent interpretation of observation as constraint formation.
