Abstract
Conflicts are an inevitable component of the educational process and significantly influence the effectiveness of teaching and learning. This article analyzes the causes of conflicts arising in educational settings, with particular attention to teacher–student interactions and interpersonal relationships. Using a theoretical and analytical approach, the study examines behavioral, motivational, and communicative factors contributing to conflict development, including the role of conflictogens. The findings highlight that inadequate pedagogical responses, excessive demands, and misinterpretation of students’ motives often escalate conflicts. The study emphasizes the professional responsibility of teachers in conflict prevention and resolution and underscores the importance of conflict-management competence in ensuring a constructive educational environment.
