Energetic Persistence Theory
Abstract
We propose a unified emergent framework, termed Energetic Persistence Theory, in which the Universe is governed by a fundamental principle of resistance against diffusion. We introduce the Hix field, an eternal energetic substrate whose natural tendency is maximal entropy. Localized regimes of stabilization of this field, termed Lix, give rise to effective matter, forces, and spacetime geometry. In this framework, time, gravity, and inertia are not fundamental but emerge from persistence gradients. Dark matter is identified with non-condensed but gravitationally active field structures, providing a natural explanation for galactic rotation curves without invoking new particle species. Cosmological structure arises from diffusion-driven instabilities. The framework is compatible with the Standard Model at the effective level, shows consistency with scale-invariant primordial spectra, and yields falsifiable predictions at galactic scales.
