The Universal Fabric Tension (UFT): A Mechanical Solution to the Dark Matter Problem via the 43.072 Constant
Abstract
This paper presents a paradigm shift in astrophysics, moving from the traditional empty-space model to the Viscoelastic Fabric Theory (VFT). Observed anomalies in galactic rotation curves, commonly attributed to dark matter, are instead shown to arise from mechanical tension (T) and viscosity (η) within the cosmic fabric. The introduction of the Youssef Constant (43.072) removes the need for approximately 80% hypothetical hidden mass, yielding a direct correlation with observed stellar velocities in galaxies such as M31 (Andromeda). The universe is treated as a structured mechanical medium where mass motion induces mechanical drag and restoring tension forces.
