Abstract

Analogue hydrodynamic black holes (HDBHs) offer a unique opportunity for the experimental study of fundamental ontological processes that may underpin the emergence of space, time, and matter. In this work, we reconstruct the HDBH phenomenon within the framework of the Tensor Model of Discrete Dynamics (TMDD) — an ontological model in which physical reality arises from the self-consistent evolution of a discrete informational network (the θ-network). We propose that the event horizon can be interpreted as a phase transition boundary within the θ-network, separating regions of high and low informational coherence (Ravg), while Hawking radiation may be understood as a decoherence event associated with the generation of quasiparticles from collective fluctuations of Iˆi tensors. A key result is the identification of the ontologically irreducible part of the TMDD action — the ”ontological tail”. When added to the classical hydrodynamic description, this tail quantitatively accounts for the empirical spectrum of HDBHs, including its thermal character, deviations (e.g., grey-body factors), structural peaks in black hole laser regimes, and a predicted chiral asymmetry. Using parameters calibrated from independent data (Ravg = 0.94, ρ/ζ ≈ 5.2), we provide falsifiable predictions, including ∼ 1% horizon oscillations and emission asymmetry at the 10−3 level. Thus, TMDD reframes HDBHs not merely as an analogy, but as a potential direct manifestation of the underlying θ-network ontology, offering specific experimental protocols for its verification
