The Influence of Economic Problems, Domestic Violence, and Gambling on Divorce in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency

The research aims to: 1) describe economic problems, domestic violence, and gambling in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency. 2) Description of divorce in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency. 3) the influence of economic problems on divorce in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency. 4) the influence of domestic violence on divorce in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency. 5) the influence of gambling on divorce in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency. 6) the influence of economic problems, domestic violence and gambling on divorce in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency. The study used a descriptive quantitative approach with a population of 596 people, the number of samples was determined by the purposive sampling non-propability sampling technique using the Slovin formula and a sample of 85 respondents was obtained. Data collection techniques through google form-based questionnaires and documentation. The validity test uses Bivariate Person correlation and the reliability test is measured with Alpha Cronbach. Data analysis is in the form of descriptive and inferential statistical methods with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows application. The results of the study showed that: 1) economic problems, domestic violence and gambling in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency were in the "high" category respectively with an average score of variable X of 38.44 (76.87%), 35.31 (70.61%) and 34.01 (68.02%). 2) divorce in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency is in the "high" category with an average score of 57.78 and a percentage of 77.03. 3) there is an influence of economic problems on divorce in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency, with a value of sig.0.000table 1.66278. 4) there is an influence of domestic violence on divorce in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency with a value of sig.0.000table 1.66278. 5) there is an influence of gambling on divorce in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency, where the value is sig.0.000Table 1.66278. 6) there is a simultaneous influence of economic problems, domestic violence and gambling on divorce in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency, as evidenced by the R Square value of 62%. Thus, it can be concluded that economic problems, domestic violence and gambling have an impact on the increase in divorce cases.
