Constraint Release as a Necessary Precondition for the Big Bang A Constraint-Based Requirement Derived from Established Physical Law
Abstract
This paper presents a constraint-based conceptual framework identifying a necessary physical precondition for the Big Bang. Using only established principles—causality, conservation laws, kinematics, and thermodynamics—it argues that a system cannot undergo global expansion unless global degrees of freedom are physically accessible. If expansion occurs, those degrees of freedom must have become accessible through a state transition, here termed a constraint-release event. The work does not propose a mechanism or new physics; instead, it establishes an a priori requirement that any viable cosmological model must satisfy to avoid logical and physical contradiction. In this sense, the Big Bang is framed not as the creation of energy, but as the transition from kinematic prohibition to kinematic necessity.
