NEW ERA TEACHING TOOLS FOR BIOLOGY TEACHERS: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Abstract
This article explores the possibilities of using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the teaching process for biology teachers. In the modern era, digital transformations have become one of the primary directions of educational development, necessitating the renewal of teachers’ pedagogical approaches. Specifically, AI tools in biology education enhance the relevance, interactivity, and scientific basis of lessons, bringing new content to students’ learning processes. The article explains the role of AI in lesson planning, improving assessment mechanisms, and creating adaptive learning environments tailored to students’ individual characteristics. Research indicates that using AI not only helps optimize teachers’ workloads but also significantly improves students’ inquiry-based learning skills and interest in the subject. Tools such as virtual laboratories, 3D modeling software, and simulations enable a clearer and deeper understanding of abstract biological concepts. At the same time, the article highlights the technological, methodological, and ethical challenges that arise when implementing AI, emphasizing the particular importance of enhancing teachers’ digital competencies for contemporary education.
