PIC = Photonic Integrated Circuits This repository contains the software for controlling the lab equipment used during the experimental part of my masters thesis: "Optical integration for surface ion traps, Michael Raffetseder 2026, University of Innsbruck" The thesis describes the photonic chip design used in the MILLENION project. The software is mainly a python wrapper around the vendor supplied API of a number of devices, including stages, a camera and a beam profiler. Additionally, it contains utilities for Logging and some (task-specific) data-evaluation tools. The raw data acquired with this software can be foud in another Zenodo repository: 10.5281/zenodo.18162544 . For the data evaluation pipeline used, see the script `./scripts/eval_all.py`
