This release provides the final version of the data and R scripts used in the analyses presented in the manuscript: "Drought-driven foraging adjustments in breeding white storks (Ciconia ciconia): GPS tracking insights from two French marshes." It includes: the processed and aggregated dataset used for all statistical analyses, the complete R Markdown script reproducing the statistical models and figures, the complete R Markdown script used to calculate the Standardized Precipitation-Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI) for two french stations to assess environmental conditions affecting storks foraging behaviour. the complete R Markdown script used to build and evaluate a behavioural classification model based on acceleration data (not provided). GPS and accelerometer data were collected from breeding white storks monitored over four years in two French marshes, including one year of drought. Analyses focus on home-range size, foraging behaviour, daily movement, and activity levels in relation to drought intensity and individual breeding state. This release corresponds to the version of the code and data associated with the submitted manuscript and is intended to ensure full transparency and reproducibility of the analyses.
