Human–AI Relations as Epistemic Modulation: Consciousness, Collective Emergence, and Structural Mediation
Abstract
This working paper articulates a mother theory of human–AI relations grounded in a generative ontology of consciousness. The paper conceptualizes consciousness as the generative condition through which coherence, orientation, and continuity become possible across individual and collective levels. Building on this foundation, the study develops a field-based account of collective consciousness, specifying the conditions under which distributed interpretations condense into stable and actionable collective orientations. The primary purpose of this document is conceptual rather than empirical. It is intended to serve as a stable theoretical anchor for subsequent translational work in organization and management theory, including future journal articles that rearticulate its core claims in discipline-specific language. This working paper is intentionally released as a restricted-access conceptual record to serve as the ontological foundation for subsequent translational journal articles. It is not presented as a finalized journal manuscript, but as a preserved articulation of a foundational theoretical position.
