Geometric Thermodynamics V:Unified Framework, Predictions, and Future Experimental Tests
Abstract
This concluding paper of the geometric thermodynamics series synthesizes the unified framework developed across the preceding four papers and presents a comprehensive roadmap for experimental verification and theoretical extension. We summarize the core principles: the black hole constant $\kappa_B = 4\pi G/(\hbar c^5)$, the universal energy-information relation $\mathcal{N}_{\text{struct}} = \kappa E^2$, and the static-dynamic decomposition $E = E_{\text{irr}} + E_{\text{dyn}}$ with $\mathcal{N}_{\text{total}} = \mathcal{N}_{\text{struct}} + \mathcal{N}_{\text{dyn}}$. The framework has been successfully applied to Schwarzschild and Kerr black holes (Paper I), cosmological dark energy via scalar-tensor theory with Planck-scale phase transition (Paper II), galactic rotation curves without dark matter (Paper III), and superconductivity/superfluidity as quantum ordered states (Paper IV). Here, we consolidate these achievements into a single coherent paradigm and address key theoretical challenges: solar system constraints requiring nonlinear screening mechanisms, galaxy cluster dynamics including the Bullet Cluster, and quantum gravity connections. We present a detailed list of 21 falsifiable predictions across cosmological, astrophysical, and laboratory scales, with specific quantitative thresholds and proposed experimental methods. These include: universal galaxy parameters $\lambda_{\text{eff}} = 4.23 \pm 0.28$ kpc, $\Gamma = 0.121 \pm 0.008$ for all isolated disk galaxies; dark energy equation of state $w(z) = -1 + (3.2 \pm 0.5) \times 10^{-3}(1+z)^{-1}$; critical current scaling $j_c \propto H_c/(\lambda_L \sqrt{\ln \mathcal{N}_{\text{struct}}})$ for superconductors; and gravitational wave dispersion $\Delta v_g/v_g \sim 10^{-19}(f/100\text{Hz})^2$ at 1 Gpc. We establish a timeline for experimental tests using upcoming facilities (Euclid, DESI, LISA, Einstein Telescope, SKA, next-generation accelerators). The geometric thermodynamics framework provides a mathematically elegant, empirically successful alternative to $\Lambda$CDM and establishes profound connections between spacetime geometry, thermodynamics, and quantum order that merit rigorous investigation.
