Fundamental Equilibrium and Emergent Entropy A Unified Theoretical Framework: Formalism, Calculations, and Applications
Abstract
This work presents a unified theoretical framework centered on the concept of fundamental equilibrium as a primary generative principle of physical systems, and on emergent entropy as a dynamical manifestation of deviations from equilibrium. The study is structured into four complementary parts. The Overview introduces the conceptual foundations and guiding physical intuition. The Formalism develops a rigorous mathematical framework describing equilibrium, symmetry breaking, and non-equilibrium dynamics. The Calculations section provides explicit analytical derivations supporting the proposed theoretical model. Finally, the Applications explore potential implications across theoretical physics and related domains. Rather than introducing ad hoc mechanisms, the framework emphasizes equilibrium as an organizing principle from which entropy, structure, and observable dynamics naturally emerge. The approach is intentionally general, scalable, and designed to remain compatible with established physical theories, while opening pathways for further investigation and refinement. This contribution is released as a preprint with the aim of fostering open discussion, critical assessment, and future extensions.
