Abstract

In a previous study (Tochigi, K., 2026), we proposed an information-geometric framework for Fermat's Last Theorem, demonstrating that the existence of integer solutions is obstructed by a geometric discrepancy between the Riemannian metric structure ($L^2$) and the moment structure ($L^n$) of the underlying statistical manifold. In this paper, we rigorously reformulate this geometric obstruction within the framework of Analytic Number Theory, specifically employing Tate's thesis. We identify the statistical manifold $\mathcal{M}_n$, constructed in the previous study, as the local space at the infinite place (Archimedean place) of the algebraic number field corresponding to the Fermat curve, and interpret the defined maximum entropy distribution as the local Schwartz-Bruhat function (test function). Furthermore, we prove that the "Dual Lattice Consistency" axiomatically postulated in the previous geometric model is mathematically equivalent to the requirement for the local functional equation of the L-function. Consequently, we demonstrate that for $n \ge 3$, the Gamma factor $\Gamma(s/n)$ derived from the $L^n$ metric structure fails to satisfy the symmetry required for global modularity (automorphy), thereby providing a number-theoretic foundation for the non-existence of solutions.
