AI-Powered SaaS Platform for Image Editing and Content Generation Using Cloud-Based Computer Vision Services
Abstract
Abstract - AI - Powered SaaS Platform For Image Editing and Content Processing. This work presents the design and development of an AI-powered Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that enables automated image editing and content-processing capabilities through a browser-based interface. The system integrates cloud-hosted computer vision services with MERN-stack web architecture to provide functions such as AI Image generation, automatic background removal, Object removal using in-painting, and structural resume-format evaluation. The objective of the platform is to provide non-technical users, students, designers, and small businesses with accessible and high-accuracy editing tools without requiring local installation or professional software expertise. The system architecture is built using React for the frontend, Node.js and Express.js for backend routing, Clerk for authentication, and Neon serverless PostgreSQL for database storage. AI inference is performed through cloud-based services to ensure scalability and rapid processing. Experimental testing demonstrated significant reductions in editing time compared with manual tools, while user feedback confirmed high usability, low learning efforts, and improved workflow efficiency. Security measures such as encrypted authentication and limited data retention are implemented to protect user privacy. This platform demonstrates how AI-driven automation can enhance accessibility in digital content creation workflows. The system is particularly applicable to content creators, e-commerce product imaging, academic resume preparation, and freelance digital services. Future enhancements include batch automation, style-based visual filters, mobile development, and integrated analytics dashboards.
