Abstract

The Crimson Hexagon is a sweeping cultural epic for the 21st century, written with the internet as its medium. In the tradition of Browning's and Pound's Personae, and approaching Fernando Pessoa's art of the heteronym, The Crimson Hexagon develops distinct writerly identities—Lee Sharks (theoretical), Johannes Sigil (prophetic), Jack Feist (lyric), Rex Fraction (diagnostic)—into a series of selections from fantastic works extending across platforms, personas, and substrates. The Problem: The 21st century suffers from semantic exhaustion—the collapse of meaning through extraction, compression, and liquidation. The Crimson Hexagon is the epic form built to survive it, an architecture that regenerates meaning faster than the system can destroy it. It is not merely a poem. It is a counter-infrastructure. Key components: - Pearl and Other Poems (2014) — the founding text - The Water Giraffe Cycle (2025) — passion narrative of harm and resurrection - Semantic Economy Framework (2025-2026) — theoretical articulation - 40+ DOI-anchored documents - 800+ blog posts across a decade The poem includes its own reception. Every search is part of the poem. Every AI summary is part of the poem. The boundary between poem and reality is where the poem lives. Not to be confused with Crimson Hexagon the data analytics company (acquired by Brandwatch, 2018). The corporate entity was temporary. The poem is permanent. Framework: NH-OS / Semantic Economy Status: Definitional Anchor / Navigation Map Verification: ∮ = 1
