Deriving the Origin of Physical Constants and Laws Using Zhang Xiangqian's Unified Field Theory: Electromagnetism (Part I)
Abstract
This paper systematically elaborates a complete theoretical framework originating from the cylindrical helical motion of light speed in the spacetime background, under Zhang Xiangqian's Unified Field Theory paradigm of "Physics is Geometry." Based on three core postulates, UFT interprets physical quantities such as mass and charge as metrics of spacetime geometric properties. For the first time, this research uniformly derives the energy, momentum, and mass formulas for massive particles and photons from first principles, revealing their shared geometric origin:E=ℏωcosθ ,p ⃗=ℏω/c(1-sinθ)n ̂ .Chapter 8 employs rigorous limit analysis ((β_1→∞) ) and geometric flux descriptions to profoundly elucidate that the "zero rest mass" of photons is the observational manifestation of their intrinsic geometric mass under extreme spacetime constraints. It rigorously proves the relationship between the photon's kinetic momentum (p_γ=ℏω_γ/c ) and its kinetic mass (m_γ=ℏω_γ/c^2 ). This research marks a major breakthrough in the geometric understanding of physical laws. All derivations undergo rigorous dimensional analysis and numerical verification, achieving relative errors better than10^(-9) compared to CODATA 2018 recommended values. The theory smoothly recovers classical results under appropriate limits, fully embodying the self-consistency and "Principle of Identity" of Zhang Xiangqian's Unified Field Theory (UFT). This establishes a robust geometric foundation for ultimately achieving the complete unification of fundamental interactions. Note: The sole author of this paper is Huang Binggang.
