Life as Hazard Management: A Physical and Biological White Paper (Conceptual Framework)
Abstract
Life is often described by functional outputs(metabolism, reproduction, adaptation). Thiswhite paper provides a complementary structural view: living systems persist by managinghazard over time. We formalize hazard management using minimal open-system dynamicswith memory, and we translate the frameworkinto concrete, day-to-day actions via two distinct control classes: reset (episodic load reduction) and rhythm (periodic regulation thatlimits accumulation). This document is nondiagnostic and does not propose new biological constants or clinical prescriptions; its purpose is to provide a shared interdisciplinarylanguage for biology and health practice.
