The Physical Time Medium (PTM): A Canonical Reduction of Physical Time as the Underlying Medium of Gravitation, Relativity, and Quantum Structure
Abstract
This work presents the canonical formulation of the Physical Time Medium (PTM), a theoretical framework in which physical time is treated as a real, measurable medium underlying gravitation, relativistic phenomena, and quantum structure. PTM replaces spacetime curvature with gradients in time-density, yielding a unified and physically grounded description of gravitational attraction, light deflection, and temporal dilation without invoking geometric deformation of space. The framework is reduced to a minimal set of invariant equations, including the identification of the fundamental constant k = -1, with physically motivated dissipation accounted for at the dynamical level. This record consolidates and supersedes earlier exploratory PTM publications, serving as the authoritative reference for the theory’s definitions, assumptions, and mathematical structure. The work is intended as a foundational contribution to physics and the philosophy of physical time.
