An Unconditional Proof of the Twin Prime Conjecture
Abstract
We develop a prime-side analytic framework for fixed-shift prime correlations and apply it to the case h = 2. The method is based on a modulated two-point correlation of a prime amplifier H(t), a pair-transform identity that converts this correlation into a non-negative arithmetic channel C_h(T), and a smooth ψ-decoding that rigidly selects a prescribed gap h. The principal analytic difficulty lies in the microscopic regime where classical Fourier decay fails. We introduce a smooth δ-bridge that converts near-diagonal multiplicative relations into arithmetic congruence averages, yielding logarithmic suppression of off-diagonal leakage via the additive large sieve. A fourth-moment dispersion estimate, combined with a Paley–Zygmund correlation lemma, produces a pointwise lower bound for C_2(T) on a thick set of parameters. As a consequence, the twin prime channel satisfies C_2(T_k) ≫ T_k along an unbounded sequence T_k → ∞, implying the existence of infinitely many twin primes. The argument is fully unconditional and does not rely on any hypotheses concerning zeros of L-functions. Beyond the specific case h = 2, the paper introduces a general fixed-shift channel method for prime correlations that isolates the analytic mechanisms required to force individual prime gaps.
