Abstract

The dataset comprises 550 examples of algospeak collected on Tiktok between March 2023 and August 2024. Each entry is accompanied by its decoded meaning. The dataset serves as supplementary material for the following research article: Moskal, Marlena & Natalia Supernak (2026). Censorship in the age of social media and algorithms: a linguistic study of TikTok algospeak in light of computer-mediated communication, x-phemisms, and taboos. Studia Neophilologica.
