Comprehensive Terrestrial Strategy for Planetary Sustainability: Evidence-Based Pathways to Climate Stabilization and Ecological Regeneration
Abstract
This dissertation develops a comprehensive, evidence-based strategy for achieving planetary sustainability through rapid terrestrial transformation, addressing the critical shortcomings identified in alternative off-world industrialization proposals. Synthesizing insights from over 150 case studies across diverse geographic and economic contexts, it presents an integrated seven-pillar framework that combines: (1) renewable energy transition targeting 85–90% clean electricity by 2040; (2) circular materials systems; (3) regenerative agriculture; (4) ecosystem restoration; (5) equitable economic restructuring; (6) adaptive urban design; and (7) governance innovations aligned with planetary boundaries.
