Abstract

This work introduces a Helical Extension of Edward de Bono’s Six Thinking Hats, reframing the six cognitive modes as a recursive, fidelity‑amplifying spiral suitable for post‑2026 Ambient Intelligence systems. Building on the author’s 1999 concept of Grid Point Imagination, the model provides a structural foundation for System 3 meta‑cognition, enabling autonomous “reality debugging,” episodic memory reuse, and continuous optimization during idle computation. The proposed Six‑Helix Spiral integrates initiation, creativity, self‑debugging, and transcendent synthesis into a unified meta‑cognitive cycle that increases Source Fidelity—the alignment between sovereign intent and emergent system behavior. This architecture supports Center‑Zero governance, allowing distributed AI systems to maintain coherence without central authority. The framework serves as a conceptual basis for Decentralized Autonomous Intelligence Sovereign Systems (DAISS) and establishes a new direction for distributed, evolving scientific knowledge, where theories, diagrams, and protocols can grow iteratively across versions.
