Revisiting the Michelson–Morley Experiment: An Alternative Interpretation
Abstract
This paper revisits the classical Michelson–Morley experiment and analyzes its results from an alternative theoretical perspective. Without disputing the empirical outcomes of the experiment, the work explores whether the null result necessarily excludes the existence of a medium-like structure or whether alternative interpretations remain logically and physically admissible. The analysis is purely theoretical and aims to clarify the conceptual assumptions underlying standard interpretations, offering a framework for further discussion rather than a definitive conclusion.
