Saturation Fixed Point in the E8 → SU(3)3 Chain: Topological Necessity and Surreal Structure
Abstract
We prove the Lie algebra chain H4 → E8 ⊃ E7 × SU (2) ⊃ E6 × U (1) ⊃ SU (3)3 × U (1) exhibits infinite saturation stability at stage G3 = SU (3)3 × U (1). Define the chiral index J(Gk) = dim(Lk) − dim(Rk). By Weyl invariance of E8, J(G3) = 0, and all refinements G3,n preserve J = 0 due to upstream conjugate generation. The structure splits canonically: R = E8/H4 (global closure), L = SU (3)3n (local charges). This yields a surreal-like fixed point {L | R} = 0 with refinement loop, topologically enforced by E8’s exceptional embedding.Definition 1 (Refinement Loop). The refinement loop is the indefinitely iterable process of constructing deeper finite tensor structures under SU (3)3, where each generation preserves the chiral index J = 0 by virtue of E8 self-conjugacy. This recursive descent admits no predetermined termination, forming the basis for the transfinite dyadic refinement in the manifold M.
