The Pain Kernel Framework (PKF) Version 1.2: Minimal Usage Units and Kernel-Based Decision Interruption
Abstract
This manuscript presents Version 1.2 of the Pain Kernel Framework (PKF), introducing Minimal Usage Units (MUU) and a kernel-based decision interruption protocol for real-world application. While PKF v1.1 established the canonical identity, origin, definition, and structural architecture of the framework, it did not specify how PKF should be used without conceptual distortion. Version 1.2 addresses this gap by defining the minimal operational conditions required to claim PKF usage, and by formalizing the Kernel Discrimination Card as a low-threshold cognitive interface that enables interruption of automatic responsibility allocation. This manuscript does not introduce new domains, empirical findings, or therapeutic protocols. It establishes operational guardrails to prevent misuse and to preserve PKF as a pre-interpretive framework enabling genuine choice rather than automatic sacrifice.
