Created by Gordon James Abbott, this theory replaces the need for Dark Matter particles with a mechanical model of Space Oldness and Temporal Tension. Primary Objective: Understanding the Basics This document prioritizes the Abbott Scale which defines the universe through three distinct levels of space oldness New Space Low Oldness High tension zones: where the spring of reality is tightly wound creating a Stall of Potential where time unfolds slowly. Examples include atomic nuclei and active galactic cores. Medium Space: The Observer and Dark Matter The active zone of unfolding where potential has partially unfolded. We exist in High End Medium space where tension supports active baryonic matter and a standard rate of time. Dark Matter is Low End Medium space regions that have aged further than our own but have not yet hit the tension floor. Exhausted Space High Oldness: The ground state Tension Floor U equals LA where potential is spent and the spring is unwound leading to a Stall of Exhaustion. This is observed in deep cosmic voids.
