TRADITION AS A SOURCE OF UNIVERSAL MORAL NORMS: A COMPARATIVE-PHILOSOPHICAL STUDY
Abstract
This article examines the relationship between tradition and moral universalism in the context of comparative philosophy. It explores the mechanisms through which moral norms are formed within traditional societies and considers the potential universality of these norms. Particular attention is paid to the question of whether tradition may be regarded not as a limiting factor, but as a source of values possessing a genuinely universal and human significance.
