Abstract

We present a geometric formulation of electromagnetism within the Superstring Fabric Spacetime (SFS) framework, in which spacetime is modeled as a continuous elastic fabric composed of interconnected fundamental strings. In this approach, electromagnetic phenomena do not originate from fundamental charges or gauge fields, but emerge from localized curvature and rotational deformations of the spacetime fabric itself.Electric charge is identified with oriented radial curvature relative to a local symmetry axis, while the electric field arises from gradients of this curvature. Magnetic phenomena emerge naturally from the rotational redistribution of curvature, described by the curl of the fabric displacement field. Maxwell’s equations are derived systematically as geometric identities governing the coupled dynamics of radial and rotational curvature modes, with the absence of magnetic monopoles following directly from the closed-loop structure of rotational deformation.Photon excitations are shown to correspond to propagating curvature modes with opposite radial deformations on either side of the propagation axis, leading to transverse and mutually orthogonal electric and magnetic fields without net charge. The framework is extended to incorporate charge stability, quantization, spin, quantum phase, and the Planck–Einstein relation, all of which emerge from intrinsic twist and rotational dynamics of the fabric. Finally, the Schr¨odinger and Dirac equations are derived as effective descriptions of low-energy and relativistic fabric excitations, respectively, providing a unified geometric origin for classical electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, and fermionic structure. Distinct experimental signatures and potential deviations from the Standard Model are discussed, offering clear avenues for empirical testing of the SFS framework. This is a revised and extended version of the previously published manuscript.
