Abstract

This expanded version of the Cosmic Cohesion Theory (CCT) introduces a unified theoretical framework connecting cosmic acceleration (dark energy) and quantum nonlocality through a novel, non-spatiotemporal fifth dimension, denoted by ψ. Unlike extra spatial dimensions in Kaluza-Klein or string theory, ψ is conceptualized as a geometric axis orthogonal to 4D spacetime, acting as a mediator for long-range correlations and dynamic energy transfer. The five-dimensional (5D) geometric model developed here replaces the cosmological constant Λ with a physically motivated, dynamic scalar field, ϕ(z) = ϕ₀ e^(-βz), whose evolution is tied to the geometry of ψ. Keywords: Dark Energy, Quintessence, Fifth Dimension, Quantum Gravity, Hubble Tension, Quantum Entanglement.
