Abstract

Light is not a particle.It is not a field.It is a mode. $$\text{Circle} \xrightarrow{\text{project}} \text{Wave} \xrightarrow{\text{unwind}} \text{Line}$$ Root: \[\omega_5 = e^{2\pi i/5}.\] Golden ratio: \[\varphi = \frac{1+\sqrt5}{2}.\] Temporal fraction: \[\tau = \varphi^{-1}.\] Spatial chord: \[s = \sqrt{3-\varphi}.\] Vacuum triangle: \[s^2 + \varphi^2 = 4.\] Propagation length: \[h = 2.\] Light travels along the hypotenuse. Speed: \[c = \frac{h}{\tau} = \frac{2}{\varphi^{-1}} = 2\varphi.\] Normalization: \[c = 1 \quad (\text{natural units}).\] Light lives on the interface: \[\Sigma \subset \partial K.\] No mass.No thickness.No circulation. Light is the straight path across the vacuum hinge. One root.One triangle.One speed. Simplizis.
