Metaconstants as Stabilized Invariants of Metaformal Dynamics Dimensional Reconstruction, φ as an Optimal Ratio, and the Emergence of π
Abstract
We propose a metaformal framework in which constants are not primitive numerical entities but stabilized invariants emerging from refinement, projection, and dimensional transitions. Within this approach, constants arise as fixed points of reconstruction dynamics and as residual products of post-singular stabilization. We formalize the notion of a metaconstant and show that classical constants such as π and φ admit a natural interpretation within this framework. In particular, π emerges as a two-dimensional closure invariant, while the golden ratio φ appears as the unique attractive fixed point of a reconstruction operator, optimizing structural self-consistency across projections. This work demonstrates the effectiveness of the metaformal approach in unifying numerical, geometric, and structural notions of constancy without modifying established physical laws.
