Abstract

The Millennium Prize problem, $P \neq NP$, is more than just a mathematical puzzle; it is an inequality of social physics expressed through mathematical notation. While both $P$ and $NP$ are calculable, they represent a systemic power imbalance. "The Controls" utilize $P$ to create an illusion of how effortlessly and rapidly Generative AI can produce output. Meanwhile, the arduous burden of verifying the "grounded truth" of that output is shifted to "the Smalls" (the users). These users often exhaust their time and resources attempting to validate these "easy" results, only to discover that the information is ungrounded, unusable, and ultimately harmful. This discrepancy, where $P$ (the ease of generation) does not equal $NP$ (the difficulty of verification), is a deliberate feature of the system, not a bug.
