Atlas v2.6 Post-Detection Temporal Banding
Abstract
Following the establishment of canonical temporal node centers, a post-detection temporal banding scheme was applied for aggregation, visualization, and public communication purposes. This banding does not participate in node detection, validation, or timing coincidence tests, and is introduced strictly as a secondary abstraction layer. The motivation for banding is twofold: to provide a visually interpretable representation of temporal structure without exposing proprietary node timing precision, and to allow downstream aggregation analyses that tolerate finite resolution without altering the canonical node centers. Keywords: temporal banding; pulsar timing arrays; time-domain analysis; variance suppression; post-detection testing; standing temporal structure; clock-based observables; non-propagating temporal effects; ensemble clock analysis; constraint-based interpretation of time; entropy suppression; structure-before-force.
