Binary stars and planetary systems in the Orion Nebula Cluster
Abstract
Gaia DR3photometry data have revealed new resolved binary systems in the Orion Nebula Cluster (ONC). The previously compiled list of ONC stars [1] in the region of the sky where free-floating planet and stars with planetary systems were discovered using the James Webb Telescope (JWST) was used. The technique of searching for binary stars in the Gaia DR3 catalog [5] was applied. The results allowed us to refine the number of binary stars in the central part of the ONC.
