Abstract

BO-PBK is a Matlab numerical code for analyzing waves and instabilities in obliquely propagating, magnetized multi-species hot plasmas. Key features (MATLAB version): Supports anisotropic drift loss-cone Type I and Type II product-bi-kappa (PBK), Type I and Type II kappa-Maxwellian (KM), Type I and Type II Maxwellian-kappa (MK), bi-Maxwellian (BM), and hybrid distributions. Includes benchmark examples reproducing published results. Pure MATLAB implementation (no additional toolboxes required). Current version excludes kinetic relativistic effects. License: BSD 3-Clause For detailed installation, usage, and examples, see README.md (MATLAB) and corresponding documentation for the Julia version.
