Abstract

Evoluism is a non-totalising philosophical framework and discipline of orientation in which Reality is understood not as an object, ground, process, totality, or final structure, but as the limit that prevents any conditioned world, theory, register, or regime of distinctions from claiming final authority over Reality. At its core lies the fundamental asymmetry between Reality and World. A world is a conditioned regime of operative distinctions — a local, structured field in which differences acquire manifestness, force, stability, and significance under specific conditions. Reality is neither another world nor the sum of all worlds, but the structural limit that keeps every world finite and non-final. In its mature form, Evoluism coordinates three non-collapsible registers — scientific (Evoluism-S), philosophical (Evoluism-P), and metaphysical-meaning (Evoluism-M) — without allowing any one to absorb or dominate the others. The parameter ψ is treated strictly as a navigational parameter, not as a metric, ontological substance, or universal measure. Evoluism is not a Theory of Everything, not a new metaphysics of ground, and not a final worldview. It is a post-totalising discipline that protects the integrity of science, philosophy, and metaphysical meaning by preventing any conditioned regime — including its own — from mistaking itself for Reality. This version supersedes the earlier formulation “EVOLUISM: A Complete Definition” while preserving it as the first compact historical statement of the framework. This version serves as the current authoritative short definition and canonical entry point for the Evoluism framework.
