EVOLUISM: A Complete Definition
Abstract
This article proposes a philosophical and methodological definition of Evoluism as a transdisciplinary ontological framework that conceptualizes reality in terms of becoming, manifestation, and local stabilization of forms. A principled distinction between existence and manifestation is introduced, allowing for the analysis of latent structures and asymmetries observed in cosmology, economics, cognitive, and social sciences. Evolution is interpreted not as a specific biological process or a directed notion of development, but as a universal transition from the potential to the manifested through mechanisms of local organization. To analyze differences in degrees of manifestation and evolutionary realizability of structures, a conceptual function ψ is introduced. The article does not propose a new scientific theory and does not compete with disciplinary models, but instead providesa coordinating framework for philosophical and scientific descriptions and demonstrates its analytical potential through empirical illustrations.
