Abstract

Overview This release marks the first normative consolidation of the Praxeological Meta-Structure (PMS). PMS v1.1 introduces no new operators, no new dependencies, and no theoretical extensions. Instead, it hardens the model's self-application discipline, making explicit what was previously implicit: Structural truth does not authorize coercive application. PMS 1.1 closes a critical vulnerability of formal frameworks: being used against the very dignity, distance, and reversibility they presuppose. What Changed (Precisely) 1️⃣ Explicit PMS Entry Condition (Application Gate) A new top-level pms_entry_condition is introduced and made non-optional: Any application of PMS presupposes: Distance (Χ), Reversibility, and Dignity-in-Practice (D). Clarification added: This gate applies only to application, not to critique, rejection, or theoretical disagreement. This formally blocks: coercive readings, irreversible labeling, and dignity-suspending "structural verdicts." 2️⃣ Self-Binding Clause (Reflexive Closure) A new self_binding_clause is added to schema_meta: Any application of PMS is itself subject to PMS. This clause establishes reflexive model closure: Analyses that suspend Χ, Ψ, or D in order to enforce truth, clarity, or asymmetry are formally invalid as PMS applications. PMS may be criticized, rejected, or ignored — but it can only be structurally betrayed by adherents who keep its language while abandoning its self-binding requirements. 3️⃣ AI / Interface Guardrails Strengthened The ai_interface_pms section now includes explicit misuse blockers, including: PMS must not be used to rank or compare human beings. Resistance, disagreement, or non-alignment must not be framed as immaturity per se. PMS-derived truth claims must not be operationalized without maintaining Χ + reversibility + D. This clarifies PMS as: a structural analysis grammar, not an evaluative, diagnostic, or enforcement tool. 4️⃣ Documentation & Stack Orientation Added The repository now includes: doc/Global Overview – PMS Layers, Focus, Reach, and Position in the Stack This document: maps PMS Base, domain layers (EDEN, SEX, CRITIQUE, etc.), and downstream governance (MIP/IA), prevents operator redefinition drift, clarifies which repositories define grammar vs. apply it, introduces no new theory, operators, or norms. It is a navigation and discipline artifact, not a model extension. What Did Not Change (Important) From v1.0 → v1.1, there are no changes to: the operator set Δ–Ψ operator meanings or definitions dependency order or hygiene derived axes A / C / R / E / D IA-patterns or self-model formulas mathematical or structural semantics All domain repositories remain fully compatible. Why v1.1 Matters PMS 1.1 closes a classic failure mode of formal systems: "Because this is structurally true, it may be imposed." From v1.1 onward, PMS makes explicit: structural truth ≠ binding authority clarity ≠ legitimacy analysis ≠ entitlement to coerce The model is now self-binding, misuse-resistant, and audit-ready. Result After v1.1, a reader or user can no longer plausibly claim: "PMS allows ranking people structurally." "Distance can be suspended for the sake of truth." "Structural analysis justifies coercion." "Neutrality implies permission." PMS remains: structural, not psychological non-clinical, non-diagnostic descriptive, not prescriptive rigorous without becoming authoritarian Versioning This release is tagged as: v1.1.0 — Self-Binding & Application Discipline Consolidation Future releases may include: additional diagrams and visualization formats, extended examples and tooling, integration guidance for PMS-STACK, PMS-QC, and governance layers, but operator semantics and dependencies remain stable unless explicitly versioned otherwise. Migration Note No migration required. Existing analyses remain valid. Applications that violate Χ + reversibility + D are now explicitly invalidated, not retroactively altered.
